I have finally moved into some almost permanent accommodation. Its a lovely little 3 bedroom cottage which recently underwent total restoration. The best part is the big garage for Ethyl, and a whole third of an acre to stretch out in!

I was trying to buy this house, but because my US credit score is currently zero (I refuse to get a credit card and live on credit!) I was unable to get finance. I made an offer and it was accepted. Then working through the paperwork until the day to sign over the check… all I got was a change of heart from my dodgy financier. The bank had already refused to talk to me so I was stuck and had to turn the house back onto the market.

Fortunately for me, I have some really nice friends here in Lake Charles! They stepped in, brought the house and now I rent it from them. Its a quiet street, just across the road from the shops and easy walk from the local bar! Nice! Come and visit me sometime! There is plenty of room!!
