The schooner “ENTERPRIZE”

I am not normally this busy, but with the summer fun happening here, this blog is beginning to look like one of those essays your teacher made you write when you came back to school after the summer holiday. Today I went sailing on the schooner “Enterprize”.
The “Enterprize” is a replica of the tops’l schooner that brought the first settlers to our state capital city Melbourne in 1835. You can read more about her here…

We sailed out from Portarlington, saw dolphins off the port bow and just relaxed with the waves lapping against the hull and a cooler breeze than the 43 degrees the land lubbers were suffering through ashore.

you may have been sitting on a schooner in 43degrees – I was drinking them instead 🙂
