I was in a pub on Saturday night. Had a few….
I noticed two large women by the bar. They both had strong accents so I asked, “Hey, are you two ladies from Scotland ?” One of them chirped: “It’s WALES you friggin’ idiot!” So, I immediately apologised and said…, “Sorry, are you two whales from Scotland ?” That’s the last thing I remember…
I went down to my local Gloria Jeans coffee shop on Saturday morning. After placing my order, the girl asked my my name. Now why would she do that? Probably one of those nosey in store surveys or something. So being a smart arse I replied “Ahhqkmed” then sat down and started reading the paper. Totally in grosed in the paper, I was only distracted by the girl behind the counter calling “order for Ahhqkmed”. On and on she went, gave up and tried again a few minutes later. All I could think was who is the Ahhqkmed idiot? Why doesn’t he pick up his coffed order and stop delaying the whole shop? Surely if he got his coffee, then they could concentrate on getting my order done!!! Then eventually I remembered that I was Ahhqkmed and sheepishly picked up my coffee….
With the cold winter weather setting in, and the main engine on the boat pulled apart, I spent the weekend helping Thomas put tubes in his boiler. He is building a steam truck and just about the last component to be finished is the boiler to power it all. Should be great when it’s finished!
