Summer continues!

We had a little cool patch last week, where the forecast top temperature was only 19 degrees. This prompted out local newspaper to write an article claiming a new record. It was the first time in the past 120 days that the temperature has been below 20 degrees. This made it the longest, continuous period of warm weather since records commenced 150 years ago! Happy Birthday Alex!

Having a boat doesn’t mean you need to kill fish. Afterall, it’s a “beer drinking” boat! Nobody has ever fished from Adaqua. I dont want fish guts all over my aft deck. But when my mate Steve told me that his son Alex wanted nothing more than to go fishing for his birthday, and asked if we could arrange a weekend away fishing, I saw the opportunity to get out on the boat for a few days and have with me some passengers who could not escape until I decided it was time to go back. A night at the opera

Or is it a night in the museum? About 1970 in Ballarat (1 hour from Geelong) they built a living air museum around the 1850’s gold rush that brought a huge influx of immigration to Australia; a period that shaped our culture and young heritage into what it is today.
